It’s possible that compatible hardware and content will be labeled IAMF, given its Dolby Atmos-like capabilities. IAMF-enabled content will appear on YouTube this year, thanks to Google’s involvement in the technology’s development. IAMF spatial audio runs on standard hardware using AI algorithms. The technology supports the separation of soundscape components and allows the listener to customize the output according to preference.
