ASUS announced the Chromebox CF40, a silent mini-PC on ChromeOS

ASUS has expanded its hardware catalog with a new compact Chromebox CF40. It features passive cooling, a rear-mounted monitor, and a pre-installed ChromeOS operating system. It also has plenty of connectors and wireless interfaces for a variety of connections.

The computer features a dual-core Celeron N4500 Jasper Lake processor (TDP 6W), which provides enough processing power for everyday tasks. It also supports up to three 4K displays at the same time.

It’s also capable of connecting up to three 4K displays at the same time.

The mini-PC’s interface connector set includes two HDMI ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (DisplayPort, USB PD), five USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a gigabit Ethernet jack, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Wi-Fi 6 module. The components also include a 65W power supply.
