Yandex has rebranded Yandex Music

Yandex Music has rebranded for the first time since 2014, with an updated logo and brand identity. In addition, a number of new features have been added.
The smart recommendation system “My Wave” now uses deep neural models to more accurately understand users’ musical interests. According to the developers, this enables listeners to discover up to a third more new favorite artists than when searching on their own. By analyzing listening history, track sequencing and other factors, My Wave is now able to capture the direction of each person’s musical taste and predict their preferences.
In addition, key sections of the service have been updated: the Yandex Music home screen is now fully personalized and offers quick access to “Collections”, listening history and “My Wave” according to the listener’s favorite genres. In addition, new “In Style” or “Met in My Wave” sections have been added, where users can find artists they’ve discovered through the personalized recommendation system.
