The system is based on a twin-cylinder compressor with vapor injection, as well as three-row condensers and evaporators. This allows the unit to operate stably in extreme conditions — from -35 °C to +65 °C. The air conditioner maintains heating efficiency at temperatures as low as -30 °C and confidently cools rooms at temperatures above +40 °C. For air circulation is responsible for a large double air wheel with a diameter of 556 mm with two 200 W motors, providing a flow of up to 7008 m³ / h. According to Xiaomi, this is enough to cool a spacious living room in just five minutes.
The 8 HP model boasts an APF of 5.40, which corresponds to China’s top Super Grade 1 energy efficiency class. The company claims that thanks to its 6Hz ultra-low frequency technology, a single bedroom can consume only about 2.5kWh of electricity per night.
