Samsung has revealed Odyssey gaming monitors with glasses-free 3D, 6K resolution and record-breaking speeds up to 1040Hz

Ahead of CES 2026, Samsung has unveiled several impressive gaming monitors with a focus on ultra-high refresh rates and advanced display technologies. Chief among them is the 32-inch Odyssey 3D, which Samsung calls the world’s first 6K monitor to support glasses-free 3D.

The monitor combines high 6K resolution with a refresh rate of 165Hz, which can be increased to 330Hz with Dual Mode. The response time is 1ms (GtG). According to Samsung, optimized 3D effects improve the perception of relief, depth and separation of objects compared to a conventional 2D image. Support for these effects is announced for a number of games, including Stellar Blade and The First Berserker: Khazan.

Another notable new feature is the 27-inch Odyssey G6, which takes refresh rates to a new level. It’s the world’s first monitor to deliver up to 1040Hz in Dual Mode. In native mode, it supports QHD resolution at up to 600Hz. Samsung claims that such performance will help players track targets faster and distinguish fine details in dynamic scenes. The monitor is compatible with AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync.

For fans of OLED technology, Samsung has unveiled the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8. It features a 4K QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, anti-reflective coating and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. The maximum brightness is limited to 300 nits. The monitor supports DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 with up to 80Gbps, as well as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies.

In addition, the company announced two more high-resolution Odyssey G8 series models. The first — a 32-inch Odyssey G80HS with 6K resolution and up to 165Hz. The second — a 27-inch Odyssey G8 with 5K resolution, native up to 180Hz and the ability to upscale to 360Hz in QHD mode thanks to Dual Mode.

The Odyssey G8 series has a 5K resolution, native up to 180Hz and the ability to upscale to 360Hz in QHD mode thanks to Dual Mode.

There’s no pricing information on the new monitors yet. Samsung is expected to reveal details closer to the beginning of next year.
