Redmi K90 Ultra and Redmi K Pad 2 could feature Bose-tuned speakers
Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil two new devices soon: the mid-range Redmi K90 Ultra smartphone and the compact Redmi K Pad 2 tablet. Ahead of the official launch, a leak suggests both will come equipped with speakers tuned by Bose.
The Xiaomi Redmi K90 series originally debuted in October 2025, introducing the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max models. A standout feature of the lineup was its Bose-engineered audio system. For instance, the K90 Pro Max boasted a 2.1-channel speaker setup with a dedicated subwoofer developed in collaboration with Bose. Now, new leaks indicate that similar audio tech might expand to other Redmi devices.
According to insider Smart Pikachu, both the Redmi K90 Ultra and Redmi K Pad 2 will sport Bose-tuned speakers. The K90 Ultra, in particular, may come with a triple-speaker setup. It’s worth noting that the K90 Ultra is expected to be the flagship of the K90 lineup.

Leaks also point to the K90 Ultra targeting high performance, featuring an overclocked MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, a built-in cooling fan, an 8,500mAh battery, and support for 100W fast charging.
The Redmi K Pad 2, meanwhile, is expected to be a compact tablet with an 8.8-inch 3K LCD display offering a 165Hz refresh rate, paired with a roughly 9,000mAh battery.
The tablet is slated to launch in China in the first half of 2026. For context, the previous generation Redmi K Pad launched internationally as the Xiaomi Pad Mini. So it’s quite possible that the Redmi K Pad 2 will also make its way outside China under a different moniker.
