Netflix has won seven Golden Globe awards for its Adolescence and KPop series Demon Hunters

The 2026 Golden Globes ceremony brought streaming platforms a slew of honors. Netflix led the way with seven statuettes, Apple TV and HBO Max each won three awards, and Hulu won one.
The Golden Globe Awards ceremony took place on Sunday and was a triumph for streaming services. Netflix took home seven awards, Apple and HBO Max received three statuettes each, and Hulu won one award.
Adolescence series triumph
The hit Netflix series Adolescence has won four awards, including best mini-series or anthology. The project also won nominations for Best Actor – Stephen Graham, Best Supporting Actor – Owen Cooper, and Best Supporting Actress – Erin Doherty in a Mini-Series or TV Movie.

The sensational KPop project Demon Hunters, which became Netflix’s most-watched tittle, won awards for best animated feature and best original song. Singer and composer EJAE said in a speech upon receiving the statuette for the song Golden: “I just want to say that this award goes to people who have had doors slammed in front of them, and I can confidently say – rejection is redirection. So never give up. It’s never too late to shine the way you were born to shine.”
Netflix also took home the award for best stand-up comedy performance on television for Ricky Gervais: Mortality.
Apple TV and HBO Max successes
Apple TV won two awards for The Studio Project: best television series in a musical or comedy genre and best male lead in a television series for Seth Rogen. The streaming service also won best actress in a drama television series thanks to Rea Seehorn in The Pluribus Project.
An award for best actress in a drama television series was also won for The Studio.
The Pitt series brought HBO Max two of three awards: best drama TV series and best male lead actor in a drama TV series for Noah Wyle. Jean Smart rounded out the list of streamer wins with an award for best female lead actor in a musical or comedy television series for The Hacks Project.

New nominations and winners
Hulu’s award went to Michelle Williams for Best Female Lead Actress in a Mini-Series or Anthology for Dying For Sex.
This year brought a new category to the Golden Globe Awards – best podcast. Amy Poehler won with Good Hang with Amy Poehler, which has interviewed stars from Tina Fey to Quinta Brunson since its debut last March. Call Her Daddy with Alex Cooper and Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard were also among the nominees.
