HP unveiled the world’s first Neo:LED portable monitor

HP has taken a step forward in the portable display segment with the announcement of the Series 5 Pro (514pn) — the world’s first portable monitor with a Neo:LED panel. The new product was unveiled at the HP 2025 event.

HP Series 5 Pro features a 14-inch screen with WQXGA resolution (2560 × 1600 pixels), 16:10 aspect ratio, 75Hz refresh rate and up to 400 nits of brightness. LG’s Neo:LED panel supports 100 percent Adobe RGB and Display P3 coverage for high color fidelity and saturation.

The monitor features thin bezels on all sides and a built-in stand for standalone use. It requires only a single USB Type-C cable for connectivity, eliminating the need for separate wires for power and image transfer.

The new product is aimed primarily at professionals and content creators, but it’s also suitable for multi-monitor configurations. The device is already listed on HP’s website, but no official price has been announced yet. Sales are expected to begin in December 2025.

Along with the monitor, the company also revealed the Omen 35L Valorant Limited Edition — a PC with custom cooling and an RTX 5000 series graphics card.
