The iQOO 15 gaming smartphone officially debuted with SD 8 Elite Gen 5 chip

The iQOO company has officially announced its new flagship gaming smartphone — the iQOO 15. The model debuted in China and features a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, as well as many improvements over the iQOO 13.
The smartphone features a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED LTPO display with 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, peak brightness up to 2600 nits, support for 2160Hz PWM and DC Dimming, Dolby Vision and HDR10+. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is located below the screen.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip paired with the Q3 gaming processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage is responsible for the performance. The smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
The main camera consists of three 50-megapixel sensors: a Sony IMX921 main sensor (1/1.56″, with OIS), a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with triple optical zoom and an ultra-wide-angle module. The front camera has a 32 MP resolution. There is RGB illumination around the camera unit.
A 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging is responsible for battery life. There’s also Smart Bypass and reverse charging.
Other features include a 14,000mm² vapor chamber cooling system, stereo speakers, IP68 and IP69 protection, and support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and dual-band GPS.
The battery pack is backed by a 7,000mAh battery that supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and dual-band GPS.
iQOO 15 is available in four colors: Track Edition (black), Legendary Edition (white), Lingyun and Wilderness (light green).
