Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will get two improved camera modules at once

According to insider Ice Universe, who continues to share details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra flagship, it’s not just the main camera that will receive improvements. In addition to brighter optics in the main module, the optical zoom module will also get a similar update. This will significantly improve the quality of zoom photos, especially in low-light conditions.
As the thickness of the smartphone’s body has been reduced, the camera’s protrusion is expected to increase by about 3mm.

Ice Universe previously reported on Samsung’s plans to introduce 60W charging support in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The new Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to be introduced in early 2026 and will be based on a new single-chip system, presumably the Samsung Exynos 2600 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2.
Ice Universe is known for its accurate predictions about new products, including the trend for smartphones with waterfall screens, the arrival of “bangs” in the iPhone X, the new iPhone 14 design and the use of Samsung’s 200-megapixel sensor.
