All the specifications of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra camera have been revealed

The code of a new HyperOS test version has revealed traces of the yet-to-be-revealed Xiaomi 17 Ultra flagship smartphone. This discovery has revealed details of its main camera configuration, which seems to have undergone significant changes compared to the current model.
Chinese media published a snippet of code that reveals that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s camera will include the following modules:
- Main sensor: OVX10500U (presumably the OmniVision OV50X, aka “inch sensor”);
- Ultra-wide-angle camera: Samsung ISOCELL JN5 (50MP, 1/2.74-inch sensor size);
- Telephoto lens: Samsung ISOCELL JN5 (50 MP, 1/2.74-inch sensor size);
- Periscopic module: Samsung HPE;
- Front camera: OmniVision OV50M (50MP, 1/2.88-inch sensor size);

The specs of the OmniVision OV50X sensor unveiled this spring are already known, but there’s no information about the Samsung HPE yet. The new model, like its predecessor, is expected to be equipped with Leica optics and a set of filters to improve the quality of photos.
Preliminary reports suggest that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will get a 6.85-inch OLED screen with 2K resolution and minimal bezels. It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and support wireless charging.
