Nubia has quietly launched its new V80 Design smartphone in several Asian countries, including the Philippines and Malaysia. The device was unveiled alongside the Nubia Air model.
V80 Design — is a budget smartphone with a design inspired by the latest iPhone models. The camera unit stretches across the entire width of the back panel, and the flash is located on the right edge, like the iPhone 17 Pro.

On the front, there’s a 6.75-inch display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The front camera has a 16-megapixel resolution.
The main camera is represented by two sensors — a 50-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A third lens on the panel serves a decorative function.

The smartphone runs on the Unisoc T7280 chipset with a processor configuration of 2 Cortex-A75 cores at 2.2GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz. Mali-G57 MP1 is responsible for the graphics. The device is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
The smartphone runs MyOS 16 based on Android 16. A 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support is responsible for battery life. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is used for biometric authentication.
The model features one speaker and two microphones, and retains a 3.5mm audio jack. Charging is done via the USB Type-C port.
An interesting feature is the support for Linkfree — a Bluetooth-based wireless communication system that allows messaging and voice calls between Nubia devices within a certain radius.
The body of the device is IP64 dust and splash resistant. The smartphone is available in Midnight Black, Pale Amber, Celadon Cyan, and Peach Fuzz.
