Huawei to unveil foldable smartphone Mate X7 on November 25: design and key specifications revealed
Huawei has announced the imminent release of its new Mate X7 foldable smartphone. The presentation will take place on November 25 in China — at the same time as the debut of the flagship Mate 80 series.
The company has already revealed the design and available colors of the new product. The Mate X7 will be offered in white, burgundy and purple. There’s a triple camera on the back, with the module getting an updated shape that’s different from the previous generation. Judging by the images, the device is thinner compared to the Mate X6.
Huawei’s official Weibo page also posted two videos showing the smartphone’s durability. The Mate X7 features second-generation Kunlun glass on the outer screen and is IP58 + IP59 water and dust resistant.

The Digital Chat Station insider shared some of the device’s specs. The new product will be powered by a Kirin 9030 processor, get up to 20GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The main camera, according to the leak, will be on par with the Mate 80 Pro and will include a 50-megapixel periscope with variable aperture. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is also reported.
The Huawei Mate X7 will officially debut in China on November 25, and the company promises to reveal more details as the unveiling gets closer.
