Galaxy A57, the next member of the popular A5x series, has already appeared in the IMEI database. The new product, which will replace the Galaxy A56, is expected to be Samsung’s flagship smartphone in the mid-segment for 2026.

First details about the Galaxy A57

The IMEI database entry points to model SM-A576B/DS, which means a dual-sim version of the device. It’s one of the first leaks so far, but it does confirm that development of the Galaxy A57 is actively underway.

The release of the new model doesn’t come as a surprise: Samsung traditionally updates the Galaxy A5x series every year. These smartphones occupy an important place in the brand’s lineup, offering balanced features at an affordable price and remaining one of the company’s best-selling devices.

New Exynos 1680 chip and possible camera improvements

According to early reports, the Galaxy A57 will be built on the new Exynos 1680 processor. Benchmarks show that the chip has received an upgraded CPU configuration and graphics with twice the performance of the Exynos 1580 used in the Galaxy A56.

A camera redesign is also expected, though exact specs have not yet been revealed. More information on the smartphone’s specs should emerge in the coming months.

Release date

If Samsung keeps the same schedule, the Galaxy A57 will debut in the early months of 2026.
