ASUS unveiled four new Vivobook S notebooks
By ForGeeks Asus has expanded its Vivobook S lineup with four new models aimed at students, professionals and creators. The devices combine AI support, a compact form factor, state-of-the-art displays, and long battery life.
Vivobook S14 (S3407QA): Snapdragon, Copilot+ and up to 30 hours of battery life
The Vivobook S14 (S3407QA) is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Series processor with an NPU that delivers up to 45 TOPS. It is a Copilot+ PC category device designed for artificial intelligence related tasks. The laptop comes pre-installed with AI applications from Asus.
The device gets a 14-inch IPS display with 2.5K resolution, 400 nits brightness and 100 percent sRGB space coverage. Weight is 1.35 pounds. A 70Wh battery provides up to 30.5 hours of battery life. There’s also 6E Wi-Fi, an IR camera with privacy curtain, and USB 3.2 and USB 4.0 ports.

Vivobook S14 (S3407CA): Intel Core Ultra and TÜV certification
The other version of the Vivobook S14 features an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor with Intel graphics and a 13 TOPS AI module. Here, it uses a 14-inch FHD+ IPS screen with TÜV Rheinland certification and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The weight is 1.39 kg and the 70Wh battery is rated for up to 20 hours of use. DDR5 memory, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a Windows Hello-enabled camera are supported.
Vivobook S16 OLED (S3607CA): bigger screen, same weight
For those who prefer a larger screen, the Vivobook S16 OLED model with a 16-inch display is available. It’s offered with either an IPS screen with a 144Hz refresh rate or an OLED panel with a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent.
The model features an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The laptop weighs about 1.4 kilograms. It inherits the 70Wh battery and rugged construction from the younger models.
Vivobook S16 (S3607VA): performance and affordability
The budget option in the lineup is the Vivobook S16 (S3607VA) with an Intel Core i7-13620H processor. It also features a 16-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The device weighs 1.4kg and packs 16GB of DDR5 memory.
Other specs include military-grade durability, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, essential I/O ports, and a 70Wh battery with 65W fast charging.
