TCL introduced the K7G Max smart door lock

The TCL electronics range has been expanded with the new K7G Max smart door lock. It features a large touchscreen display and artificial intelligence-based facial recognition, similar to Face ID in iPhones.
The K7G Max is a smart door lock with a large touchscreen display.
Structured light technology is the basis for facial identification. According to the company, the system is able to adjust to changes in lighting and user appearance through continuous learning and eight different recognition algorithms operating in the background. The device can store information on up to 20 users.
The lock can be unlocked in a variety of ways: fingerprint scanning, numeric code entry, via NFC, remotely from a phone or with a traditional key.
TCL K7G Max also has two cameras: an external 2-megapixel camera with a 160° viewing angle and an internal 1-megapixel camera with a 120° viewing angle. The lock monitors the outside, and you can watch video from the 4.5-inch IPS screen or a connected device (like a smartphone or TV).
The smart lock is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery, which the manufacturer claims has enough power for 8 months of standby time. The device will notify the user when it needs charging via a mobile alert and a light signal.
