Samsung revealed three next-generation Odyssey gaming monitors
By ForGeeks Samsung has announced a new lineup of Odyssey gaming monitors offering cutting-edge technology. Specifically, the Odyssey 3D model lets you enjoy 3D images without the need for special glasses, while the Odyssey OLED G8 features 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. Also introduced is the ultra-wide Odyssey G9 with a curved screen. For design and graphics professionals, there’s the 37-inch ViewFinity S8.
Odyssey 3D (G90XF) features a 27-inch display with gaze tracking and a lenticular lens for a glasses-free 3D experience. 3D content is accessed via the Reality Hub app. It also supports 2D to 3D video conversion using artificial intelligence.
Gaming features include a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support, and an Edge Lighting system that adapts to the image on the screen.

The 4K-resolution Odyssey OLED G8 is available in 27-inch and 32-inch versions, with the 27-inch model offering a high pixel density of 166 ppi. The monitor is equipped with a QD-OLED matrix with support for VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400, anti-glare technology and pixel burn-in protection system. The Samsung OLED Safeguard+ cooling system utilizes a heat pipe that is 5 times more efficient at dissipating heat, protecting the screen from burn-in and extending its lifespan.
Gamers can enjoy a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible. The design is complemented by a slim metal chassis and Core Lighting+ backlighting.
Odyssey G9 is an ultra-wide 49-inch monitor with Dual QHD resolution and 1000R curvature. The 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time ensure smooth images, while FreeSync Premium Pro technology eliminates frame gaps. The monitor supports Auto Source Switch+ and is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified.
TheViewFinity S8 features a 37-inch 4K display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and HDR10 support. It displays a billion colors and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for reducing eye strain. The monitor supports USB-C (90W) connectivity and features a KVM switch.
