Philips Evnia unveiled a 310Hz gaming monitor with 0.3ms response time

Philips’ gaming division — Evnia brand — has unveiled a new 25-inch 25M2N3200U monitor aimed at cyber athletes and competitive gaming enthusiasts. The device relies on high response speed, responsiveness and extensive customization options. The price of the novelty is £159.
The monitor has a Fast IPS panel with Full HD (1920 × 1080) resolution. The refresh rate is 300Hz, but can be overclocked to 310Hz when connected via DisplayPort. When Smart MBR is activated, response time is reduced to 0.3ms, which significantly reduces motion blur during fast-paced gameplay.
Evnia 25M2N3200U supports the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard, delivering peak brightness of up to 450 nits in HDR mode. Color gamut is 123% sRGB and 91% DCI-P3, providing good color fidelity for a Full HD panel. Contrast is — standard 1000:1, and SmartContrast automatically adjusts contrast based on the content being displayed.

The monitor offers a number of gaming features: Smart Crosshair, Stark ShadowBoost and Smart Sniper increase visibility and aiming accuracy in shooters and strategy games. The on-screen menu offers preset modes for FPS, RTS and racing games, as well as two custom profiles that can be customized to your preferences.
There’s support for Nvidia’s G-Sync Compatible technology, which synchronizes the screen refresh rate with the graphics card, eliminating image tearing and twitching. Additionally, Philips offers Evnia Precision Centre software that lets you customize monitor settings and save personal profiles right from your computer.
For long gaming sessions, LowBlue Mode and Flicker-Free technologies reduce eye strain. A matte-textured anti-reflective coating (25% diffusion) and EasyRead mode improve text readability.

The stand supports height adjustment (up to 130mm), tilt (-5°…20°), swivel (±30°) and 90° screen rotation. The monitor is compatible with the VESA 100 × 100 mm mount, allowing for customized configurations.
The port selection includes two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone jack. The unit weighs 5.03 kg with stand, and dimensions at maximum height — 557 × 508 × 239 mm.
