Gmktec unveiled the NucBox K16 mini-PC with Ryzen 7 7735HS and external graphics card support

GmKtec has launched a new performance mini-PC, the NucBox K16, aimed at content creators, advanced users and gamers who want desktop performance in a compact chassis.

The device is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor based on the Zen 3+ architecture. It has 8 cores and 16 threads and is capable of overclocking up to 4.75GHz. Graphics are handled by an integrated Radeon 680M core with up to 2200MHz, suitable for non-demanding gaming and workloads.

The mini-PC is equipped with 32GB of 6400 Mbps LPDDR5X RAM, which is soldered on the board and cannot be upgraded. For data storage there is support for two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 drives with a total capacity of up to 16 TB. The device comes standard with a 512GB or 1TB PCIe 3.0 SSD.

One of the key features of the NucBox K16 is the full-featured USB4 port and OCuLink interface. USB4 provides data transfer rates up to 40Gbps, DisplayPort 1.4 display output at up to 8K resolution at 60Hz, and support for Power Delivery charging up to 100W. The OCuLink port allows you to connect an external graphics card with up to 64Gbps of bandwidth over PCIe Gen4.

The front panel features a power button, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a USB4 Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an OCuLink connector. At the back, there are two more USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, two 2.5GbE network ports, and a power connector. The system supports up to three displays simultaneously.

The chassis is made of CNC-machined aluminum and measures 107 × 111 × 56 mm. It’s cooled by two fans, copper heat pipes, and a sophisticated internal air circulation system designed to keep temperatures low under load.

Official sales of the GMKtec NucBox K16 will start on January 20, 2026. The version with 32GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is priced at $679.99, while the configuration with a 1TB drive — is priced at $729.99. Both models come at a discounted price, compared to the recommended price, which is $899.99 and $949.99, respectively.
