Vivo is developing a camera for vloggers to rival the DJI Osmo Pocket

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3, launched back in 2023, quickly became a favorite among vloggers and YouTube creators thanks to its high-quality video capture, effective gimbal stabilization, and ultra-compact design. While DJI is expected to release the highly anticipated successor soon, a strong new contender appears to be emerging in the market.

Vivo has confirmed to Chinese media that it is working on its own dedicated vlogging camera. This upcoming device is set to directly compete with the next DJI Osmo Pocket 4 and will reportedly leverage vivo’s expertise in mobile photography and video technology. The camera will feature a compact form factor, though no further technical details have been disclosed yet.

According to reports, vivo began development on the camera at the end of last year, with an official launch expected before the end of 2024.
