Lava launches a low-cost dual-screen smartphone Blaze Duo 3

Indian brand Lava has launched a new smartphone Blaze Duo 3 in the local market. Like the original Blaze Duo introduced in December 2024, the new product has an additional display on the back that sets the device apart from its competitors.

Lava Blaze Duo Duo 3 features a 1.6-inch AMOLED touchscreen on the back. It supports music playback control, notification view and can be used as a viewfinder for the camera. The main front screen is a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor coupled with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of on-board UFS 3.1 storage. The main camera features a single 50-megapixel module, while there’s an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Out of the box, the Blaze Duo 3 runs Android 15. The manufacturer promises an upgrade to Android 16 and two years of security patches. Additional features include — an under-screen fingerprint scanner, infrared port and stereo speakers.

The smartphone’s body is 7.5mm thick and is IP64 dust and splash resistant. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support is responsible for battery life. The device has a USB Type-C port and supports 5G networks, Wi-Fi 6E, GPS and Bluetooth 5.4.

Lava Blaze Duo 3 is available in Imperial Gold and Moonlight Black colors. The price of the single version with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at Rs 16,999 Indian rupees.
