Honor is preparing a budget smartphone Play 60A: the first specifications appeared in the network
Honor seems to be preparing another affordable smartphone for its Play lineup. The new model – most likely the Honor Play 60A – has appeared in the database of Chinese platform Telecom Equipment Terminal Network, thanks to which the first details before the official announcement became known.
According to the published information, the device with model number NLA-AN00 has dimensions of 167 × 77 × 7.89 mm and weighs just 186 grams. This makes it thinner and lighter than the current Honor Play 60, which is 8.4 mm thick and weighs 197 grams.

On the front, there’s a 6.75-inch display with a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels. Inside sits an unnamed 2.2GHz octa-core processor with 5G support. However, there’s a trade-off: the battery capacity is 5,130 mAh, which is less than the Honor Play 60 with its 6,000 mAh battery.

Cameras are also in line with the budget level, with a 13MP main module and a 5MP front camera.

In comparison, the Honor Play 60, which came out in April, got a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip and a 6.61-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Pricing started at 1,199 yuan for the 6/128GB version, and three color options were available for buyers: Midnight Black, Jade Dragon Snow, and Dawn Green.

According to Base, the Play 60A will be thinner, slightly lighter and get a slightly larger screen. Details on refresh rates, memory configurations and charging speeds have yet to be revealed. But the general approach remains the same: big display, good battery life, and everyday performance at an affordable price.
