Fresh list of car models subject to luxury tax published
By ForGeeks The Ministry of Industry and Trade has published an updated list of cars subject to the luxury tax. It includes 555 models, including not only premium and luxury foreign cars, but also a lot of Chinese cars.

The price category between Rmb10 million and Rmb15 million includes Chinese models such as the Hongqi E-HS9 Executive, Hongqi H9 Executive, Li Auto L9 Max, Seres M9, Tank 700 Edition One, Tank 700 Superior, Voyah Dream EVR Long Range and Zeekr 009 WE Edition. The BYD Yangwang U8 Deluxe Edition, Hongqi H9+ Edition One and M-Hero 917 EVR are in the over Rmb15 million segment. Interestingly, the list also includes one Hyundai model – the Staria Lounge Inspiration minivan with a 2.2-liter diesel engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The second part of the list includes domestic luxury cars Aurus Senat and Komendant, while the largest number of models on the list belongs to Mercedes-Benz – more than a hundred of them.
