Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi G27Q 240Hz gaming monitor

The Xiaomi company expands its lineup of gaming monitors by introducing the Redmi G27Q 240Hz. The new product is already available for pre-order in China and offers a increased refresh rate compared to last year’s 180Hz model. Pricing starts at 1,499 yuan ($206), but early buyers can purchase the monitor for 1,199 yuan ($165).
Redmi G27Q 240Hz features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. Xiaomi claims the monitor is designed for dynamic gameplay thanks to 1ms GTG response and AMD FreeSync Premium support that minimizes frame gaps. The 240Hz refresh rate reduces latency, making images smooth and responsive.

Brightness and contrast are also improved: the panel is HDR400 certified and supports peak brightness of 400 nits. The monitor covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space and 100% of sRGB, and the 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC) ensures smooth gradients.
Xiaomi has also taken care of eye protection: the QingShan system with DC Dimming and TÜV Rheinland certification help reduce eye strain during prolonged use.
Redmi G27Q 240Hz has fully adjustable stand with height adjustment, tilt, swivel and 90° rotation for portrait mode. The monitor supports VESA mounting, and interfaces include two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Power consumption is 48W.
