Genesis, Hyundai’s premium brand, has taken its ideas to the next level by unveiling a snowmobile concept based on the GV60 electric SUV. Called the GV60 MIV (Mountain Intervention Vehicle), the model is designed for rescue operations on snowy slopes. It can also handle rough terrain and challenging weather conditions, the company emphasizes.
Snowmobile with 429 hp
The GV60 MIV has replaced the standard wheels with four tracks, allowing it to travel over snow and difficult terrain. The vehicle is equipped with heavily bolstered sport seats, medical supplies and communication systems to help avoid situations where you’ll need to rescue yourself.

In place of the standard rearview mirror, the GV60 MIV has a Garmin GPS Map 276Cx navigator that works without an internet connection. It also features Vehicle-to-Load, which allows you to use the battery to power rescue equipment, making it an eco-friendly choice for the outdoors.
The GV60’s electric powertrain delivers up to 429 hp and has a maximum range of up to 294 miles on a single charge (for the standard road version).
World Premiere in Davos
Genesis unveiled the GV60 MIV concept at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The brand has shown off its designs at the event several times before, including the Genesis X and GV70 Snow models, another vehicle designed for extreme conditions but more for fun than rescue.
Genesis has proven once again that creativity and technological innovation can make even rescue operations luxurious.
