Oppo’s Chief Product Officer Pete Lau has confirmed that the Find X9 series will also enter the global market, although the exact timing of the international release has not yet been given. The Oppo Find X9 and Vivo X300 smartphones will be powered by the recently unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip. In addition, Oppo will release ColorOS 16 as early as October 15, the day before the event, and the new smartphones will ship with this firmware «out of the box». The OnePlus 15 will be among the first devices with the new system.

Insider Digital Chat Station posted an image of the Find X9 Pro’s camera module on Weibo. The module is shaped like a rounded square and includes three lenses with the Hasselblad logo.

According to leaks, the Find X9 Pro will get Sony’s LYT-828 50 MP primary sensor, Samsung JN5 50 MP ultra-wide-angle module and Samsung HP5 200 MP telephoto lens. Oppo is thus ditching the dual 50 MP telephoto system used in the Find X8 Pro in favor of a single, higher-resolution sensor.

The smartphone’s screen will be the world’s first to use a Tianma «1nit bright» panel, with peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits.

The satellite-enabled version of the Find X9 Pro has already made a splash in the AnTuTu benchmark, scoring 4,045,997 points.
