Tecno is preparing to update the Pova lineup with a new model in 2026. Information about the future of the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G has already surfaced in the form of early renders and leaked specs that give a first glimpse of the brand’s plans. While information on pricing and launch date is not yet available, the leaks indicate that the smartphone will emphasize on design continuity, larger battery and moderate hardware enhancements.

The processor is expected to be a MediaTek Dimensity 7100, which is yet to be officially unveiled. The smartphone is likely to come in multiple memory configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and a senior version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the software side, the device should run Android 16 with HiOS 16’s proprietary HiOS shell.
One of the key features will be an 8,000mAh battery, which could set a new benchmark for mid-range smartphones. Support for fast charging is rumored to be up to 45W. Additional features include an optical under-screen fingerprint scanner, an infrared port and IP64 dust and splash protection.
