A busy schedule of new Apple products is rumored to be coming in 2026, and it’s recently been possible to get a clearer picture of the timing of some devices. According to analyst Jeff Poo of GF Securities, according to MacRumors, Apple plans to introduce both a more affordable MacBook and a cheaper iPhone early next year. Presumably, the 12th-generation iPad will also be released in the same period.

It was previously rumored that the MacBook would become cheaper, helping to make Apple’s laptops more affordable for consumers on a budget. The new model is expected to cost around $599 in the US – significantly cheaper than current prices. Currently, Apple’s most affordable MacBook is the $999 MacBook Air (or equivalent in other currencies). The new model, according to Poo, will feature a 13-inch display, use the A18 Pro chipset that was introduced in the iPhone 16 Pro 2024, and will be available in silver, blue, pink, and yellow colors, which matches earlier rumors.

According to predictions, Apple could release a more affordable version of the iPhone – presumably the iPhone 17e – early next year. The expected starting price of the new iPhone is around $599 US dollars, £599 or AU$999. According to Poo, most of the specs will remain similar, but the gadget will house a faster A19 chip inside and the front camera will get 18 megapixels with support for Center Stage, which always keeps the user in the frame. It is also expected to move to Apple’s new C1 modem. This line of devices was previously called the iPhone SE, and it’s thought that the new product will continue the theme of more affordable models.

As for the 12th-generation iPad, it’s rumored to hold few surprises and is generally similar to the previous 11th model. However, it’s likely to get a processor upgrade, the A18 chip, which will allow the entry-level iPad model to support Apple Intelligence technology for the first time.
