REDMI unveiled the Redmi 15C 5G budget smartphone

REDMI is expanding its lineup of budget smartphones with the launch of the Redmi 15C 5G, which is already on sale in several European countries. This model is an updated version of the previously unveiled Redmi 15C 4G, but now with support for faster 5G network. The smartphone retains the familiar design and powerful battery that users have come to love.

The novelty is already available in Poland, France, Spain and Hungary. The price starts from 150 euros for the version with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The 256GB model is more expensive, but the price is still slightly higher than the 4G version, which sells for around €130 in many regions.

The main improvement is the new MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, replacing the old Helio G81 Ultra. The new chip is made using modern 6nm technology and has eight cores: two fast 2.4GHz cores and six energy-efficient 2.0GHz cores. It delivers stable performance in everyday apps and light gaming, while saving battery life.

The rest of the specs remain largely unchanged: a large 6.9-inch LCD screen with a high 120Hz refresh rate, a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support (charger not included). The cameras are modest – a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera.
