M.Video-Eldorado brings iPhone 17 to Russia a day before global launch

M.Video-Eldorado was the first in the country (along with other retailers, such as MTS) to start selling the new iPhone 17 – the smartphones will arrive to pre-order customers from the end of September. This was reported by the press service of the company.

Demand for iPhone 17 broke pre-order records

Sergey Uvarov, commercial director of M.Video-Eldorado, said that customer interest in Apple’s new lineup is significantly higher than last year’s figures. Demand for the iPhone 17 with 256GB of storage was double that of the iPhone 16 in 2024.

iPhone 17 Pro 256GB is 20% more likely to be ordered than last year’s model.
iPhone 17 Pro 512GB showed a 25% increase in pre-orders.
iPhone 17 Pro Max was the most popular device, accounting for 42% of all orders.

In the lineup of colors, the new orange was the leader, chosen by a third of buyers, and 41% among Pro and Pro Max. Silver and blue variants share second place. The iPhone 17 Air also showed positive dynamics, but its share was 3.5% of total orders.
