Oppo has officially unveiled two new budget smartphones for the Chinese market – the Oppo A6i+ and Oppo A6v. Both devices target the affordable segment and emphasize extended battery life thanks to large-capacity batteries. Here’s a closer look at the main specs and features of these new releases.
Both phones sport expansive 6.75-inch screens with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1125 nits, ensuring good visibility outdoors. They also support DC Dimming to reduce eye strain. Under the hood, both models run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The Oppo A6v comes in configurations with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the higher-end Oppo A6i+ offers options up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Battery life is a standout feature – the Oppo A6v is equipped with a huge 7000mAh cell, while the A6i+ packs a 6500mAh battery. Both devices come with Android 15 out of the box, layered with Oppo’s ColorOS 15 skin.
The camera setups differ only slightly. Both phones share a 50MP main sensor, but the front cameras vary: the Oppo A6i+ has a 5MP selfie shooter, whereas the Oppo A6v features an 8MP front camera. Additional features include 45W wired fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, glove and wet-hand gesture controls, as well as a suite of AI-enhanced camera functions. Water and dust resistance ratings differ between the two: the A6i+ carries an IP69 certification, while the A6v is rated IP64.
Pre-orders are now open in China, with official sales starting on February 6. The Oppo A6i+ will be available in Glacier White and Chestnut Brown, while the Oppo A6v will come in Glacier Blue, Titanium Purple, and Wilderness Green.
