JBL unveiled new Bluetooth speakers Flip 7 and Charge 6
By ForGeeks JBL has launched two new portable Bluetooth speakers, the Flip 7 and Charge 6. Both devices feature improved sound, water and dust resistance, and support for artificial intelligence (AI Sound Boost).
Design and sound
JBL Flip 7 features a 25-watt subwoofer and 10-watt tweeter for deeper bass and clearer sound. The Charge 6 received a similar improvement in sound. Both devices support AI Sound Boost, which automatically adjusts audio settings for optimal listening.
The speakers are made from eco-friendly materials, including 77% recycled plastic and a recycled fabric grille.
Autonomy and protection
Flip 7 runs up to 16 hours on a single charge, and the Playtime Boost feature adds another 2 hours of playback. The Charge 6 features extended battery life of up to 28 hours.
Connectivity and additional features
The two speakers support Bluetooth Core 5.4 and Auracast technology, allowing you to connect multiple devices for stereo sound. Charge 6 additionally features USB-C for lossless music playback and supports Over-the-air updates (OTA) via the JBL Portable app.

- JBL Charge 6 will go on sale for $199.95
The two models will be available in six colors: black, blue, white, red, purple and camouflage.
