Actress Britt Lower won an award Emmy for lead actress in the drama series Severance. In her acceptance speech, she left fans with a little Easter egg – or perhaps a “cry for help” from her innie character.

Actress Britt Lawer’s award-winning performance as the lead female character in the drama series Severance.

During her thank-you speech, Lauer held up a sheet with the names of those she wanted to mention. On the back was a sign familiar to fans of the show’s first series, the words “Let me out” – a reference to Helly R’s character. The gesture was quickly noticed by viewers and discussed on social media as a subtle hint of the show’s plot.

“Split” and other Apple victories

The series didn’t take home a statuette for “Best Drama Series,” but the team still took home two awards. In addition to Britt Lower, the winner was Tramell Tillman -he won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Mr. Milchik.

Apple was one of the evening’s triumphants overall, with its projects picking up 25 awards, 13 of which went to comedy hit The Studio, including the top prize for “Best Comedy Series.”

In honor of the success, Apple even erected a billboard that reads “Thank you, Sal Saperstein,” a reference to a joke from the first season of The Studio.
