Dacia has turned the Duster into a pickup truck.

Dacia (owned by Renault) has launched sales of a utilitarian variant of its crossover — Duster Pick-Up with a double cab. The new variant has been created in collaboration with Romanian firm Romturingia, which specializes in car body conversions.

The Duster Pick-Up combines the functions of a family car and work transportation. The 1050×1000mm cargo area can hold up to 430kg. It features metal rails, four lashing eyes and a folding side panel for easy loading.

The interior accommodates four seats. The model will be available in three hybrid configurations, including an all-wheel-drive option.

The pickup is registered as a commercial vehicle in category N1. Standard equipment includes front and side airbags, ABS and ESP, hill start and hill descent assist, emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping and a surround-view camera.

Cost and sales launch
Orders for the Dacia Duster Pick-Up are now open. In Romania, prices start from €25,983 excluding VAT, which is approximately 2.6 million rubles.
