Google has made it easier to delete data from Password Manager

Google Password Manager has long established itself as one of the most convenient tools for storing passwords, offering synchronization between Android smartphones, desktop devices via Chrome, and tablets. However, if users decide to switch to a different password manager, now they won’t have to manually delete their saved data one by one.

The new “Delete All Data” option has been added to Google Password Manager settings and is now available in the Google Play Services beta version 25.10.31. The feature was previously spotted in test mode, but is now becoming more widely available. After the update, users will be able to find it in the settings section, just under the password import and export options. When selected, a confirmation message will appear indicating the number of saved entries that will be deleted.

Before this feature, the process of deleting passwords was rather inconvenient. Users had to either erase entries one at a time, which was time-consuming, or delete all of their Chrome data, including browsing history, cookies, and cache. Now, with the new feature, you can instantly clear all passwords and passkeys without affecting other browser data.

This move makes it easier to abandon Google Password Manager in favor of other services. If users previously put off switching because of the hassle of deleting stored data, the process is now much more convenient.
