Apple is preparing an update for iPad 11: expected changes and new features

Apple Intelligence support: what this will bring to users
The next generation of the budget iPad is likely to get Apple Intelligence support. This functionality will open up access to a number of advanced features such as notifications with smart sorting, Genmoji, improved Siri command recognition, and ChatGPT integration. While the exact processor has not been confirmed, the possible use of the A18 is due to the high manufacturing costs of the first-generation 3nm processors, making the introduction of the A17 Pro unlikely.

Connectivity and accessories: new standards and compatibility
The iPad 11 is expected to support the new Wi-Fi 6E or even Wi-Fi 7 connectivity standards, as well as Bluetooth 5.3, which will offer faster data speeds and reduced latency. In addition, the iPad 11 could get compatibility with an updated version of the Magic Keyboard, which has a more traditional keyboard design that differs from the iPad 10’s folio stylus. Apple Pencil Pro support is also likely, if Apple changes the magnet placement on the device.
