Samsung has started global sales of Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Watch 8 series

On July 25, Samsung began global sales of its new foldable Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 smartphones, as well as the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic smart watches. The new products are already available in 49 countries and will soon be available in more than 110 regions around the world.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are thinner and smarter

The two smartphones have become the lightest and thinnest among all Z series models. Both are powered by Galaxy AI and get advanced artificial intelligence features, including Gemini Live, an assistant that analyzes camera images and reacts in real time.

The Galaxy AI-powered smartphone is now the thinnest smartphone in the Z series.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 is focused on multitasking and content creation. The device features a large display, a 200MP camera and generative image editing capabilities, including automatic removal of distracting elements in photos. The camera supports flexible shooting angles and prompts editing options based on context.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 focuses on compactness and personalization. The new full-screen FlexWindow external display lets you work with apps without opening the device. The Now Bar feature brings music, workout and travel notifications directly to the external screen. Users can interact with Gemini on the cover and take selfies via FlexCam with real-time filters. A new Portrait Studio feature turns pet photos into stylized portraits.

Colors and offers at purchase

Galaxy Z Fold 7 is available in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jetblack and exclusive Mint (available online only). The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is in Jetblack, Blue Shadow, Coralred and Mint. The Flip 7 FE version of the Flip 7 will be sold in black and white colors. According to Samsung, Blue Shadow was the most popular color globally.

Buyers of the new foldable devices are offered 6 months of access to Google AI Pro and 2 TB of cloud storage. Samsung Care+ and the New Galaxy Club with advanced upgrade options are also available.

Galaxy Watch 8: Real-time health

In conjunction with the smartwatches, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Watch 8 series, including the Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic. All watches get a redesigned design, new sizes and materials, and a BioActive sensor to track health metrics like sleep, stress, nutrition, and exercise. A new Antioxidant Index feature lets you measure antioxidant levels in 5 seconds right from your wrist.

Galaxy Watch 8 available in 40mm and 44mm sizes in Graphite and Silver colors. Watch 8 Classic available in 46mm and Black and White colors. The updated Galaxy Watch Ultra is available in four titanium colors, including the new Titanium Blue.

Record pre-orders and demonstrations

Samsung reports record pre-orders for the Galaxy Z series in Europe. More than 50% of the applications were for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and overall interest in the foldable models exceeded that of the Galaxy S25 series.
