The new CMF Phone 2 Pro will get an accelerated chip and 120 FPS for gaming

Nothing’s CMF sub-brand is preparing to release its first smartphone with the Pro prefix – the CMF Phone 2 Pro model will be officially unveiled on April 28. Amidst the upcoming launch, platform Flipkart has revealed a key detail: the device will get a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. It’s a small but significant upgrade over the processor in the original CMF Phone 1.
Slightly faster, slightly smarter – but how “Pro” is it?”
CMF Phone 2 Pro will be built on the Dimensity 7300 Pro – which the manufacturer claims gives a 10% boost in CPU performance and a 5% increase in graphics over the regular Dimensity 7300. Despite the modest upgrade, the smartphone promises to perform faster in everyday tasks and provide a smoother interface.
Smartphone 2 Pro will be based on the Dimensity 7300 Pro, which is claimed to deliver a 10% increase in CPU and 5% increase in graphics performance over the regular Dimensity 7300.

The main focus is on mobile gameplay: the manufacturer openly claims 120fps support for the popular BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) game. This could be a serious argument for mobile gamers, especially since not every mid-budget smartphone can handle this kind of workload.
What else is known about the new product
On the Geekbench 6.4.0 platform, the device has already shone with results: about 1,000 points in the single-threaded test and almost 3,000 in the multi-threaded test. Visually, the CMF Phone 2 Pro has flat side edges and slightly thinner bezels compared to the first model.

The sixth-generation AI unit from MediaTek, an NPU with 4.8 TOPS performance, is installed inside. This should give the smartphone additional flexibility in photo, video processing and AI interaction, though a direct comparison with the NPU from the base 7300 has yet to be disclosed.
All in all, despite the rather understated improvements, the CMF Phone 2 Pro looks like a solid upgrade: a little more power, a little more style, and an emphasis on performance in games. With only a few days left until release, Nothing may have saved a couple more trump cards.
