Honor 400 will learn how to turn photos into videos with AI – premiering May 22nd

The company Honor has confirmed that the new Honor 400 line of smartphones, which will have its world premiere on May 22, 2025, will feature an unusual feature – «AI Image to Video». It allows you to turn ordinary photos into short 5-second video clips, all right in the device’s gallery, without any third-party apps.
The feature was developed in partnership with Google Cloud, and supports real photos, old photos, and even images created by other AI models.
Photos come to life: what AI Image to Video can do
Honor is betting on convenience and creativity: just select an image from the gallery and press a couple of buttons – the smartphone will generate a smooth animation or a short video. The resulting clip can be saved, edited, or sent to social networks.

Smartphone with flagship-level AI features – at an affordable price
The Honor 400 lineup is aimed at users who care about powerful AI cameras but don’t want to overpay for flagships. The series will feature built-in AI processing tools that were previously only found in more expensive models. The emphasis is on autonomous content creation, without third-party services or apps.
Honor explicitly states: The 400 series is a creative AI tool in a mid-range smartphone format.
