Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone, and thanks to a new leak, key improvements over the previous Galaxy S24 FE model have been revealed.

The information was discovered by NieuweMobiel.nl, who spotted Samsung’s marketing images on the website of Portuguese retailer MediaMarkt. Judging by them, the smartphone’s design is almost unchanged, but the improvements inside are noticeable:

- Front camera: 12MP (vs. 10MP on the Galaxy S24 FE).
- Battery: 4900 mAh (was 4700 mAh).
- Wire charging: 45W (previously 25W).
So the new product will get better selfies, increased battery life and noticeably faster charging.

- 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom.
There’s a new AI ProVisual Engine that provides improved photo and video processing.
Display, performance and software
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and dynamic frequency up to 120Hz. Protection is provided by Gorilla Glass Victus+, while the case is made in Armor Aluminum and is water-resistant to IP68.
The hardware backbone is a Exynos 2400 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. Out of the box, the device will get Android 15 with One UI 7.0 shellup to seven major OS updates and as many years of security patches.

Design and accessibility
The Galaxy S25 FE will be available in four colors: black, navy blue, light blue, and white. Dimensions are 161.3×76.6×7.4 mm and weight is 190g, which is 20g lighter than its predecessor, despite the larger battery.

Price is listed at €789.99 on MediaMarkt’s website. The presentation may take place during the IFA 2025 trade show, which starts on September 4.
