WoW 11.1.5 releases April 22: new event, buffs for alts and UI improvements

Blizzard has announced the full contents of World of Warcraft 11.1.5 patch, which launches on April 22. Players will be treated to a massive update with a new Nightfall public scenario, bonuses to boost alternate characters, the return of Horrifying Visions, a new Cooldown Manager UI element, and the fun PvE event Dastardly Duos.

The new cycle will last a few months and evolve in stages, starting with experience and activity buffs in Dragonflight and The War Within, and ending with battles against “animatronic” bosses from WoW’s past.
April 22 – Winds of Mysterious Fortune and the Nightfall scenario
The main buff of the patch launch is Winds of Mysterious Fortune, which will increase the experience gained by 20% for characters from level 10 to 79. The buff will also give +200% reputation with Dragonflight’s main factions and +100% with The War Within factions. The promotion will run until May 20.

Additionally, players will be able to find Mysterious Satchels when looting and completing quests in these areas. Inside are temporary boosts, visual effects, equipment items by level and specialization, and +10% experience potions that stack with the main buff up to 30%.

Nightfall scenario: new threat, new alliance
Players will join Flame’s Radiance faction to defend the lands of Arathi from the remnants of Shureka’s army after defeating Queen Ansurek. During the scenario, players will divide into squads, clear areas of enemies, gain Renown (reputation) and unlock unique rewards.

New UI feature: Cooldown Manager
- Go to Game Menu → Options → Advanced Options
- Enable Cooldown Manager to display important abilities and buffs in the center of the screen
Through the HUD edit mode, you can customize the panel to your liking: position, tracked cooldowns, buffs, and visual effects.
May 20 is the return of Horrifying Visions
From May 20, players will be able to return to nightmare-distorted versions of Stormgrad and Orgrimmar, where they will once again have to withstand the onslaught of N’Zoth. Support for both single-player and group play. You can bring along a Soridormi construct to act as a tank, healer or DPS without being affected by the insanity effect.
New difficulty levels up to Heroic, the return of old horror masks and the introduction of three new ones:

June 3 – Dastardly Duos event
A new PvE event with bosses from the past – now in the form of “animatrons” – will launch for six weeks. Three hubs await players: Stormgrad, Orgrimmar, and Dornogal. Entry to battles is via Xyggie Marou, and additional bonuses are sold by the troll merchant Wodin.
Each week more bosses will be unlocked, up to 10 in total. Battles will feature two or more bosses at a time, and points will be awarded for damage, kills, etc. Players will be able to compete on leaderboards and earn:

- Achievements with additional effects
