Cross-platform multiplayer will be released in Mortal Kombat 1 by the end of February

NetherRealm Studios is working on cross-platform multiplayer for Mortal Kombat 1. The plan is to add cross-platform multiplayer to the game by the end of February 2024. However, according to the manufacturer, the cross-platform multiplayer feature will not work on Switch. Ed Boon has promised players a Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath-like story add-on for Mortal Kombat 11.

It’s worth noting that the studio is currently working on allowing fans to filter players playing fighting games online over Wi-Fi to find opponents with a more stable internet connection.
