FromSoftware has announced Elden Ring Nightreign

The The Game Awards unveiled a trailer for the new Elden Ring game Nightreign, the next chapter in the popular series. Despite recent statements by FromSoftware Studios that development of Elden Ring 2 is not being considered, Nightreign offers a completely different approach to gameplay.

New genre and gameplay features

Elden Ring Nightreign is described as a cooperative survival game designed for three players. The action takes place in a parallel universe, relatively Lands Between. Players, called Nightfarers, must cooperatively survive for one day by fighting monsters.

FromSoftware has confirmed that Elden Ring Nightreign will be released on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. The game is scheduled to launch in 2025, with the exact date to be announced at a later date.
