Dragon Age Dreadwolf «is constantly being delayed» internally at BioWare. BioWare CEO Gary McKay said earlier this week that the company would lay off «approximately» 50 employees as part of «a transition to a more agile and focused studio». Some time ago, the game’s release date was pushed back to March 2024, but it is now said to be due out next summer «not before». However, Grubb also said that it is highly likely that the game’s release will be pushed back even further to late next year, but possibly to early 2025.

In March, EA announced that BioWare’s Mass Effect team had been brought in to help develop Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, while a small group led by Mike Gamble continues pre-production work on the next installment in the sci-fi series.
