Asus ProArt P16 laptop unveiled: Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and RTX 5070 for €3099

The model is aimed at creative professionals and offers an impressive combination of features, including a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, advanced cooling system and OLED displays.
Asus ProArt P16: Key Features
The two available configurations of the Asus ProArt P16 feature an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB SSD. An M.2-2280 storage expansion slot is provided, but its bandwidth is limited to PCIe 4.0 x2 interface with theoretical speeds of up to 4GB/second.
Displays: a choice between 2.8K and 4K OLED
- 2880 x 1800 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness
- 4K resolution (3840 x 2400), 60 Hz refresh rate

Liquid metal cooling system and quiet operation
ProArt P16 features a three-fan cooling system with a liquid metal thermal interface for efficient heat dissipation and reduced noise. At peak loads, the system can consume up to 120W of power, dynamically distributing power between the processor and discrete graphics.
Despite the powerful stuffing, the laptop remains thin and light: the body thickness ranges from 0.59 to 0.68 inches and weighs 1.85 kg. The 90Wh battery and energy-efficient Ryzen processor provide decent battery life, especially when the Nvidia discrete graphics are under low load.
Comfort for Creative Work
Asus ProArt P16 gets the proprietary Asus Dial Pad built into the trackpad, which makes it easy to control tools in editing and editing programs. Also available are two USB-C ports (one of which supports USB 4 with up to 40Gbps), two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and an SD Express 7.0 card reader with support for speeds up to 985MB/s.
