Haier has launched a low-cost Y16 notebook for home and office powered by Intel Core i5

Haier has introduced a new Y16 notebook designed for home and office use. It features a full-size keyboard, powerful hardware, and a camera with a shutter for privacy. It also offers a wide range of interfaces and a color-accurate screen, making it ideal for browsing the web.
The laptop features a 16-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, 60Hz refresh rate, and full coverage of the sRGB color space. It’s powered by an eight-core Intel Core i5-12450H processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD drive. It’s also worth noting the presence of a number pad on the keyboard.
Autonomy is provided by a 45Wh battery with support for 90W fast charging. The specs list also includes a webcam with privacy curtain, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-A, Type-C, HDMI and Ethernet ports, a microSD slot and a headphone jack. When folded, the notebook has a maximum thickness of 19mm and weighs 1.68kg.
