Acer announced the new Aspire 16 AI series based on Intel, AMD and Snapdragon processors.
Aspire 16 AI: three versions to choose from
The Aspire 16 AI series is built on three different hardware platforms. All devices feature a 16-inch screen, modern design, and support for AI features including Copilot+ Hotkey.

Intel
The variant with the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor and Intel Arc graphics provides up to 26 hours of battery life. It uses an OLED display with WUXGA+ resolution (1920×1200 pixels), 120Hz and up to 500 nits of brightness.
AMD
The lineup features the Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 5 340 processors with Radeon 860M and Radeon 840M graphics, respectively. Battery life is not officially listed for these models, but they also focus on power efficiency. The AMD variants support Microsoft Pluton security and face unlock.
Snapdragon
The Snapdragon X version features maximum battery life – up to 27 hours on a single charge. Instead of OLED here, it uses a WUXGA LCD display, available with a color gamut of 100% sRGB or 45% NTSC. The variant runs Windows 11 with basic support for Windows Hello.
