“Octave DM” integrates OWS radio systems into Sennheiser’s SoundBase x platform

At the international exhibition of audiovisual technologies Integrated Systems Europe 2025 (ISE 2025), which took place from February 4 to 7 in Barcelona, the Tula-based manufacturer of wireless microphone systems Octava DM has signed a strategic agreement with the developers of the SoundBase x Sennheiser platform. As part of the cooperation, the profile of radio systems OWS is included in the SoundBase software package for professional radio coordination.

Lubov Stalnova, General Director of Octave DM, commented:
“We are listening carefully to our users and are pleased to announce a direct collaboration with Sennheiser. The integration of our radio systems into the SoundBase ecosystem confirms the high quality and technological leadership of Octave’s products and opens up new opportunities for users.”
What is the SoundBase platform?

SoundBase is an innovative software suite developed jointly by Show Code US and Sennheiser. The platform is designed for organizing and managing audio projects, including frequency calculation, radio environment monitoring and remote equipment setup. One of the key features of SoundBase is its versatility: it supports radio systems from different manufacturers and uses advanced frequency calculation algorithms that are more accurate than their counterparts.
Show Code US spokesperson emphasized:
“The Octave Radio System Profile is already available in the SoundBase library. Users can perform frequency calculations and monitor radio conditions. Future updates will make it possible to remotely control OWS radio systems via Ethernet.”
OWS radios: a technological advantage
Octave DM’s OWS OWS series radio systems have a number of unique features that bring them up to world-class standards. Key features include:
- QPSK digital modulation, which provides high signal noise immunity.
- True Diversity technology to prevent loss of communication.
- Radius of confident reception up to 100 meters – one of the best in its price segment.
In 2024, the company released the OWS-U2200 OWS-U2200 – a two-channel radio system with improved design and expanded functionality. It has received high praise from industry professionals.

New features for users
The integration of radio systems OWS into SoundBase makes working with complex audio projects much easier. Users can now:
- Calculate radio system frequencies via the SoundBase cloud database.
- In the future, manage the settings of the OWS-1200 and OWS-2200 models remotely via Ethernet.
Sergey Borzov, technical director of Octave DM, noted:
“Partnering with SoundBase offers us the prospect of expanding our audience and improving the user experience. We will continue to develop the functionality of our radio systems to meet the needs of the professional community.”
The strategic agreement with Sennheiser reinforces Octave DM’s position as one of the leaders in the professional audio market and underscores its commitment to innovation.
