The first KGM dealership center from “Major Auto” opened in Moscow
By ForGeeks Major Auto Holding has become an official partner of Korean automaker KGM – the brand formerly known as SsangYong. The exclusive distributor of the brand in Russia is the company “REX Motors”.
The new dealership is located in the Major City complex on Novaya Riga. The showroom, which meets the modern standards of KGM, can accommodate up to seven cars. All current models of the brand are represented here:
- subcompact crossover Tivoli,
- compact Korando,
- midsize Torres,
- frame Rexton SUV.
- sale of new cars,
- test drives,
- trade-in program,
- credit and insurance,
- installation of additional equipment,
- warranty and post-warranty service.
The service area of the center includes three posts and is capable of servicing up to 20 cars daily. KGM branded equipment is used for diagnostics and maintenance, including original tools, elevators, tire fitting and car wash. All software and documentation is localized for the convenience of Russian specialists, from spare parts catalogs to repair manuals.
REX Motors CEO Vitaly Osipov noted that the brand’s return to the market is due to the high loyalty to SsangYong products and the strong reputation of Korean cars for quality and reliability. He also stressed that the company takes seriously the organization of after-sales service according to international standards.
Major Auto president Mikhail Bakhtiarov confirmed that the partnership with KGM will be a continuation of the long history of cooperation with SsangYong. According to him, the brand’s modern models are a combination of advanced technologies and traditional Korean quality, which can interest the Russian consumer.
