Oscars 2025: nominees announced

The nominations for the 2025 Academy Awards have been revealed. “Emilia Perez” received the most nominations at the 2025 awards with 13, one short of the record shared by “All About Eve,” “Titanic” and “La La Land.” The films “The Brutalist” and “Wicked” each received 10 nominations and look set to be “Emilia Perez’s” most serious competitors. However, despite the large number of nominations, these films have other competitors – “Anora,” “Perfect Stranger” and “The Substance.”
